Back In The Swing Of Things

So things have been crazy around the Kelly Curly Boutique. I just got two new helpers and having a 3 month old keeps me busy! I plan to have even more cute things available in our store this year that should be perfect for the holidays!

Currently available is the adorable plush set of Toasties!
Hey what goes better together than PB&J?  :)

Shark Steam Mop-Momma Recommended!

Being a mom who is working from home has brought a whole new meaning to cleaning.  I need something simple, fast, and something that does the job the first time.  I know I'm a bit behind the cleaning trend, but I recently purchased a Shark Steam Mop and I will NEVER go back to using an old mop again.  This is really no fuss.  You put the water into the mop and you're ready to go.  Cleaning the mop head...that's simple you just toss it into the washing machine (on the sterile cycle) and that's it; no more mixing chemicals and dirty soap water, no more squeezing and ringing out the mop, no more covering your floors over and over again just to try to get them clean.  With the Shark Steam mop it's add water and go.  It's so easy to use, and best part is it cleans with steam!  It's more effective, less work, and overall a better clean!

That makes this product not only Momma Approved, but Momma Recommended!

The House on Cemetery Hill

It's slow going, but I want to share a few of the pages I've been able to illustrate in my latest children's book.

The House on Cemetery Hill

By:  K.C. Green

The dedication page.

The first page to the story.

I will have the first two chapters done by my deadline September 1st.  I will make these pages public for anyone to see and continue to work on finishing illustrating the rest of the book.  Like I said it's slow going with a new baby to take care of, but I'll just keep working at it.

I also plan to release one of my children's novels, available for purchase on Amazon, December 1st of this year, but you know how I am with deadlines.  ;)  Although with this novel I actually have a group of fans (small that it is) dying for more of this story...so that is motivation!  I'll keep you posted.  Amazing things to come!

Love,

K.C. Green

My Daughter-Isis Alexandria Extraordinaire

My beautiful daughter Isis Alexandria.  Born May of this year.  I feel so very blessed and thankful that she is here and healthy!

Well of course I had to dress her in a bunny tutu.  ;)

So if you're wondering where I've been this is the answer.  Between the bed rest, rough 56 hour long labor, and getting use to having a newborn I've not had much time to devote to writing.

But it's all worth it just to have her here.  I love her so much and I'd gladly do it all over again without a second thought!

"Just a little Jamba Juice?"

I love to cover her in her toys for some reason lol.

But seeing her smile is what I live for.  I love to see her this happy!

Here are some videos of her saying mom at 9 weeks old and momma at 10 weeks.

Now onto crafts and creations!
This black beret I made in a morning to match an emergency outfit for a birthday party (her original outfit was delayed in the mail-boo!).

Here is a Hello Kitty hat I made for her.  This is a 1st attempt so I'll probably make another one later, but I think it came out rather cute.

Here she is in her strawberry beret.  This has been available a few times on my etsy store.

Lot's of fun things to come!
